Kelli Berglund and Spencer Boldman from Lab Rats have something to be extra excited about with this week’s all new episode, which airs Monday, October 13 at 6:15 p.m. ET/PT on Disney XD. The episode, “Alien Gladiators,” features a special guest star from the Disney Channel: Jessie Karan Brar! We caught up with Kelli and Spencer to talk to them about the episode. Tiger Beat: We love seeing Disney stars playing guest roles on other Disney series. What was it like working with Karan Brar?
Kelli Berglund: Karan is not only hilarious, but also one of the sweetest guys I know! We all loved having him on set, it was a blast.
Spencer Boldman: He’s a talented kid, but most importantly he’s respectful and professional. Always cool to see kids like him that have a good head on their shoulders.
Tiger Beat: Having Los Angeles Dodgers player Andre Ethier on set must have been pretty exciting. Are you a fan of baseball and following the playoffs? Are there any funny, behind-the-scenes stories you can share about working with him on set?
Kelli Berglund: It’s a bit ironic that I’m a huge San Francisco Giants fan, but I was definitely star stuck when I met Andre Ethier. He was a great actor (especially for having very little experience) and remembered his lines perfectly!
Spencer Boldman: I love baseball and was an even bigger fan of Ethier after working with him. I met him and I was wearing a giant dingo head for the scene which was pretty embarrassing but he was a pro and fun to work with.
